Webinar: The Role of Health Literacy in Shaping Policies and Services in Health Promotion

As part of the 22nd M-POHL Meeting, a public webinar on “The Role of Health Literacy in Shaping Policies and Services in Health Promotion” will take place on 6 October 2026 (09:30-10:30 CET) and can be attended online by interested professionals, policymakers, researchers, and stakeholders.

Participants will hear a keynote presentation by Rade Pribaković, Head of the Centre for the Management of Prevention and Health Promotion Programmes and Deputy Scientific Director of the National Institute of Public Health of Slovenia, on the development of Health Promotion Centres in Slovenia and their contribution to chronic disease prevention, health literacy, and health promotion. The keynote will be followed by reflections on M-POHL’s contribution to health promotion 40 years after the Ottawa Charter, presented by Christina Dietscher, M-POHL Policy Chair, and Diane Levin-Zamir, M-POHL Research Chair.
