EVPOP workshop “Health literacy in a digital world"

We are excited to invite you to the next EVPOP workshop “Health literacy in a digital world”
 

The World Health Organization recognizes digital health literacy as a key component for better health outcomes, reducing inequalities in health-care access and enabling individuals to make better decisions for their health. However, the available data on the digital health literacy of the population show that there is a strong call for action as the increase of digital technologies challenges the health literacy skills of people. To achieve sustainable improvements, actions from individuals, health organizations and systems are required. In this webinar we want to focus on the challenges, barriers and facilitators accompanying the digital transformation. Also, we will hear about successful steps taken to address the issue of limited digital health literacy.
