The article was published in December 2020 in the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health by Saskia De Gani, Daniela Nowak-Flück, Dunja Nicca and Dominique Vogt. The paper provides insight into the development process of a self-assessment tool for primary care organizations to assess and improve their level of health literacy. The participative development process, outcomes and the three modules of the self-assessment tool: (1) manual with detailed introduction and instruction, (2) checklist for self-assessment of organizational health literacy and (3) handbook with measures for improvement are presented in the journal article.
